| How to Rent an Instrument |

If your school is listed in the Cities and Schools menu on the left side of the screen, click on the school name to view the schools and instruments available.
If your school is not listed, you can click on Rent By Instrument to view the instruments available. NOTE: We do not rent instruments outside of Wisconsin and the UP of Michigan, sorry. |

The Gold Plan Offers:

Once you've selected your instrument, don't forget to add some accessories to ensure your child's success in music.
For Saxophones and Clarinets, extra reeds are recommended. Each instrument comes with one reed to get your child started, but these do break.
Music Stands are highly recommended for use for home practice. A music stand promotes good posture and helps your child avoid bad habbits.
Care Kits contain accessories to help your child keep their instrument in top playing condition. Accessories include necessary oils and grease, as well as a polishing cloth, and other items specific to each instrument.

When you have finished adding your instrument and accessories to your shopping cart, click on the checkout button on the right side of the screen. If this is your first time shopping online with us, you will be prompted to fill in some basic information (name, address, email, etc.). If you already have an account, enter your email and password at the prompt.
PLEASE NOTE: You must have Pop-ups enabled in your web browser to complete checkout! (If using Windows XP and Internet Explorer, Go to Tools at the top menu bar, select Options, click on the Privacy Tab, then click on the Settings button. Enter www.heidmusiconline.com in the space provided and click Add, then Close, then OK. If using Firefox in Windows, go to Tools at the top menu bar, select Options, then click on the Content tab. Click on Allowed Sites, enter www.heidmusiconline.com in the space provided and click the Allow button. Click the Close button, then OK.)
Next, select your shipping option. We can deliver your order to your child's school if it is a school we regularly call on. To find out if your school is one we deliver to, please check our School Delivery list. We can also ship your rental instrument to your home for a fee:

In order to rent your instrument online, you will need to complete the lease agreement. To do so, click on the Please Complete link that appears next to your rental instrument. Everything in RED must be filled in to complete the agreement.
If you elect to take the Instrument Replacement Plan, please select Yes or no.
If you elect to have future payments charged to the credit card provided for this order, you can simply check the Credit Card box on the agreement. Otherwise, please include bank information (checking or savings) for the future payments.
When you have finished the agreement, click on the "Submit" button which will take you back to your Checkout.
After you have completed the agreement, in the "Additional Information" section select the customer type (this can be easy to miss), add any additional information in the box provided, and enter your credit card information to pay for the order. If you are a returning customer and have selected to enable your card for "Fast Checkout" simply enter the credit card security code and click "Fast Checkout". If you are a new customer or wish to use a different credit card, enter the card number and click on "Use New Payment Method".
Once entered, your order is not complete until you click on the "Confirm Order" button. You will receive a confirmation email to the address you have listed.
NOTE: Your order total does not include required Maintenance and Repair, IRP (if selected), or tax. Your final total will be calculated and included on the final lease agreement which will accompany your child's instrument. |
